A predictable, transparent process so you always know where your project stands and what comes next.

1. Free site visit & consultation

Jay visits your home, assesses the space, and listens to what you want. No sales pitch — just an honest conversation about what’s possible in your basement, your timeline, and your budget range.

2. Detailed scope & itemized quote

You receive a written, line-by-line quote within 5–7 business days. No “call for pricing.” Every item is spelled out — framing, electrical, plumbing, flooring, permits, and labor — so you can compare apples to apples with any other contractor.

3. Permits pulled, schedule set

We handle all permit applications in your county. Once approved, you receive a detailed project schedule showing each phase and its timing. You’ll know your start date, milestones, and projected completion before work begins.

4. Construction, with Jay on-site

Work proceeds according to the schedule. Jay is on-site regularly — not just for inspections. You have his direct number and can reach him with any question, any day of the week.

5. Final walkthrough & your sign-off

When the work is complete, we walk through every inch with you. Any punch-list item gets addressed before final payment is made. We don’t consider the job done until you do.

Most basement projects run 6–14 weeks depending on scope. A basic finish (framing, drywall, flooring) typically takes 6–8 weeks. A full remodel with a bathroom, bar, and custom finishes runs 10–14 weeks. We set your schedule upfront in the contract and stick to it.
